The well-known Route of the Volcanoes is considered one of the most beautiful in the world, due to the diversity of landscapes that can be seen along its 18km. This dizzying journey, which runs from the Refugio del Pilar to Fuencaliente, where the Teneguía volcano is located, offers the possibility of spotting the most varied fauna such as the farm and the kestrel. On the tour the visitor will also enjoy views such as the one that can be seen from Las Deseadas, at 2,000m high, for many the best view of the island, and from where on clear days it is possible to see Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro.

Also known as La Isla Verde, La Palma also offers trails in which to enjoy the scent of pine forests, or let yourself be enveloped by the exuberance of its "primitive" vegetation.

One of the most beautiful trails is the one that extends in a circular way through the verdant laurel forest of the Cubo de Galga, located in the northeast of the island, in the municipality of Puntallana.

No less beautiful is the forest of Los Tilos, the first Biosphere Reserve on the island and located in the municipality of San Andrés y Sauces, which preserves a natural heritage of exceptional value. In addition to the laurel, the tiles, vineyards, palos blancos, laurels, acebiños, strawberry trees, peralillos, fayas, heather and extraordinary giant ferns also stand out in this forest. And, speaking of laurisilva, we must also name the PR LP 9.2 that passes through the spectacular Caldera del Agua.

Revitalizing yourself is possible in places like Las Tricias, where a small path that recalls the rural past of the island, brings the visitor closer to the spectacular dragos of Buracas, centenary trees that give off an incomparable magic. No less energetic is the trail to the dragons of Las Toscas.
