Virgen de las Nieves Folklore Festival

The Virgen de las Nieves Folklore Festival returns for a new edition paying tribute to the traditional romances (ballads) of La Palma. This event brings together some of the island's most representative folklore groups for an evening that highlights the songs, rhythms, and dances that make up La Palma's rich cultural heritage.

The programme features performances of sirinoques, tajarastes, and romances, as well as the presentation of the recovered ancient Baile de los Romances (Dance of the Ballads) of La Palma. This artistic expression, which had disappeared over seventy years ago, has been beautifully reconstructed by the Echentive Ethnographic Collective. The festival's festive atmosphere invites everyone to enjoy a unique experience celebrating Canarian tradition and culture.
