A certified organic market in La Palma
All markets are linked to the land and therefore to ecology. However, very few can boast award-winning certified organic produce. The Puntagorda market in the north of La Palma can do just that. It is also located in a fantastic spot next to the El Fayal forest, with tables, a barbecue area and a children’s playground. A wonderful place only two kilometres away from the town, that is ideal for an enjoyable, family weekend.

A delightful experience that allows you to enjoy cheeses, wines, the famous almendrados (almond cookies) and other certified organic produce. This crafts market is also renowned for its recreational and cultural activities, and thanks to the 40 stalls and stage area of this 1,000m2 facility, the market has become an island attraction since 2002. Its easy accessibility and beautiful surroundings bolster its position as an award-winning market for sustainable management. The market is also a member of the Club de Producto Turístico Reservas de la Biosfera Españolas; an initiative by the Spanish authorities to promote sustainable tourism.
