Festivities of San Juan

The San Juan Festivities in Puntallana, La Palma, are a traditional celebration held each June in honor of Saint John the Baptist, the town's patron. These festivities feature a variety of cultural and religious activities, highlighted by the solemn procession of the saint’s image through the village streets, accompanied by the Municipal Music Band. Additionally, events such as the Craft Fair, musical performances, dances, and sports activities encourage the participation of locals and visitors. The festival is also known for its bonfires and fireworks displays, which light up the night and symbolize purification and renewal.
