Museum of Embroidery and Corpus Christi
In El Pueblo de la Villa de Mazo, in La Palma, there is a neoclassical mansion with red facades and white balustrades. In the 19th century the building belonged to Leopoldo Pérez Díaz. Over the years the site has belonged to different people. It’s been a hotel and taken on the name La Casa Roja (the Red House). Starting in 1994 the City Council has restored the building. On the ground floor you can experience the Corpus Christi Visitor Centre which offers interesting details about the festival of the eucharist. On the upper floor of the building—there is an embroidery museum that shows off a selection of embroideries, openwork, and filigrees.
Three museums in one location

Opening hours run from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The ground floor is accessible for people with reduced mobility. Where possible, the chairs of visitors can be taken upstairs to the second floor.
