Romería de San Roque

The Romería de San Roque in Villa de Mazo is a traditional festivity held in honor of San Roque, co-patron of the municipality. After a period of absence, the celebration was enthusiastically revived by the local community. During the event, participants take part in a Canarian-style mass and enjoy a communal dinner in the Plaza del Corpus. The day concludes with the blessing of pets and a lively street dance (verbena), strengthening community bonds and preserving the town’s cultural traditions.
