Romeria de la Virgen del Pino. in El Paso is an annual celebration that takes place where the residents decorate the image of the Virgin and the surroundings with flowers, while wearing traditional Canary Island costumes. The festivity begins with a procession where the image is carried from its hermitage to the church of Our Lady of Bonanza, accompanied by music and traditional dances. During the solemn mass, floral offerings and agricultural products are presented in gratitude. Along the route, there are performances by folk groups and enjoyment of typical island foods and drinks. At the end of the day, the image of the Virgin is returned to its hermitage in another procession.
